How the directory is sorted
Eight kinds of place to go
A site can belong to more than one collection — a fan archive that also runs a weekly newsletter sits in two places, and we do not force it to pick one. What we do insist on is that it meets the standard of every collection it claims.

What a site has to meet to be listed
- It is a real, reachable website — not a social account, a group chat or a defunct link.
- Its subject is GL: series, pairings, fandom, or the culture around them.
- It does something a reader can use: a database, an archive, a schedule, a conversation.
- Someone looked at it, on a date, and wrote the description themselves.
- Where a fact could not be confirmed, the entry says so instead of guessing.
