Okazu

Erica Friedman's yuri reviews, news and essays — running since 2002 and still going.

Okazu is the longest-running English-language yuri blog, opened by Erica Friedman in 2002 and later hosted under Yuricon. It reviews yuri anime, manga, live-action and books, posts news with source links, and covers interviews, conventions and academic writing on the genre. For a reader who wants context — how yuri actually developed, and who is publishing in it — it remains the richest English-language archive on the subject.
